4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To clean the Wavestate MKII, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes, as these can damage the finish and electronic components. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed immediately by a dry cloth.

4.2 Storage

Store the synthesizer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. When not in use, cover the instrument with a dust cover to protect it from dust and debris. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the unit.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 No Power

If the unit does not power on, check the power adapter connection to both the synthesizer and the wall outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the ON position. Try a different power outlet to rule out electrical issues.

5.2 No Sound Output

Verify that audio cables are securely connected to the correct output jacks on the Wavestate MKII and to the input of your audio system. Check the volume levels on both the synthesizer and your audio system. Ensure headphones are not plugged in if you intend to use the main outputs. Confirm that the selected program is producing sound.

5.3 MIDI Communication Issues

Check MIDI cable connections between the Wavestate MKII and your external device or computer. Ensure correct MIDI channels are selected on both the synthesizer and the connected device. For USB MIDI, confirm that the necessary drivers (if any) are installed on your computer and that the device is recognized.
