Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your air fryer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Air fryer does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outlet malfunction; unit not properly closed. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check if the door is fully closed. |
| Food is not cooked evenly. | Overcrowding the basket; food not flipped/shaken. | Do not overcrowd the cooking racks. For best results, shake or flip food halfway through cooking. |
| White smoke coming from the appliance. | Grease residue from previous use; fatty foods cooking. | Clean the drip tray and interior thoroughly after each use. For fatty foods, ensure proper ventilation. |
| Food is not crispy. | Not enough oil (for certain foods); temperature too low; cooking time too short. | Lightly coat food with oil if desired. Increase temperature or cooking time. Use the Hi-Fry option for extra crispiness. |
