5. Setup Guide

5.3 App Download and Connection
To access live view, recordings, and settings, download the companion application to your smartphone. Search for "HDcamera" (as per user review) or refer to the QR code in the product packaging for the correct app.
- Turn on the camera: Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the indicator light illuminates.
- Download App: Install the "HDcamera" app from your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS).
- Cell Phone App Connection: Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your camera. This typically involves connecting your phone to the camera's Wi-Fi hotspot first, then configuring the camera to connect to your home Wi-Fi network.

5.4 Mounting the Camera
The camera features a magnetic back cover for easy installation.
- Direct Magnetic Attachment: Attach the camera directly to any ferrous metal surface.
- Using the Magnetic Bracket:
- Attach the camera to the magnetic top of the bracket.
- Use the adhesive pad to secure the base of the bracket to a clean, flat surface.
- Adjust the camera angle as needed.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light illuminates.
- Power Off: Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.

6.2 Recording Video
Video recording can be initiated manually or through motion detection.
- Continuous Recording: Once powered on with a Micro SD card inserted, the camera may begin continuous recording automatically, depending on its default mode.
- Motion Detection Recording: Configure motion detection settings via the mobile app. When motion is detected, the camera will automatically start recording and send an alert to your phone.
- App-Controlled Recording: Use the "HDcamera" app to manually start or stop recording, or to capture snapshots.
6.3 Mode Button Functionality
