1. Introduction

The Foppapedretti FP360 I-Size car seat is designed to provide optimal safety and comfort for children from birth up to approximately 12 years of age, covering a height range of 40 cm to 150 cm. This versatile car seat features a 360-degree swivel function, multiple recline positions, and an adjustable headrest and harness system to adapt to your child's growth. It incorporates advanced safety features such as Safe Body Protection for side impacts and includes an ergonomic reducer for infants and a Comfort Kid Pad for older children. 2. Safety Guidelines

Always read and understand all instructions before installing and using the car seat. Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious injury or death to your child.

• Ensure the car seat is correctly installed and secured in your vehicle according to the instructions for your child's height and weight.
• Never leave your child unattended in the car seat.
• Always secure your child with the harness or vehicle seat belt, ensuring it is snug and correctly positioned.
• Do not use the car seat if it has been involved in an accident, even if there is no visible damage. Replace it immediately.
• The FP360 I-Size car seat complies with European regulation ECE R129/03. It is approved for use on all vehicle seats marked with the i-Size logo. If your vehicle seat is not marked with the i-Size logo, consult your vehicle's manual or the car seat manufacturer's vehicle list for compatibility.

4. Setup and Installation

4.2. Installation for Children 40-105 cm (Rear-Facing)

For children from 40 cm up to 105 cm in height (approximately birth to 4 years), the car seat must be installed in a rear-facing position using the ISOFIX system and support leg.

1. Place the car seat on the desired vehicle seat.
2. Extend the ISOFIX connectors from the car seat base until they click into the vehicle's ISOFIX anchor points. Ensure the indicators turn green.
3. Push the car seat firmly against the vehicle seat back to remove any slack.
4. Extend the support leg until it firmly touches the vehicle floor. Ensure the indicator shows correct engagement.
5. Adjust the recline position as needed for the child's comfort.

4.3. Installation for Children 76-105 cm (Forward-Facing)

For children from 76 cm in height and 15 months of age up to 105 cm, the car seat can be installed in a forward-facing position using the ISOFIX system and support leg.

1. Rotate the car seat to the forward-facing position using the 360° swivel function.
2. Ensure the ISOFIX connectors are securely engaged and the support leg is firmly braced.
3. Secure the child with the 5-point harness system.

4.4. Installation for Children 100-150 cm (Forward-Facing)

For children from 100 cm up to 150 cm in height (approximately 4 to 12 years), the car seat is used as a high-back booster. The child is secured using the vehicle's 3-point seat belt. The car seat can be attached using ISOFIX or simply placed on the vehicle seat.

1. Remove the 5-point harness system (refer to the full instruction manual for detailed steps).
2. Place the car seat on the vehicle seat in a forward-facing position.
3. If using ISOFIX, connect the ISOFIX connectors to the vehicle's anchor points.
4. Position the child in the car seat.
5. Route the vehicle's 3-point seat belt through the designated guides on the car seat and across the child's body. The lap belt should be low across the hips, and the shoulder belt should rest across the middle of the shoulder, not on the neck.
6. Adjust the headrest so the shoulder belt guide is slightly above the child's shoulder.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Locate the swivel release lever/button on the base of the car seat.
2. Press the lever/button and rotate the seat to the desired position.
3. Ensure the seat locks securely into place before driving.

5.2. Adjusting the Headrest and Harness

The headrest and 5-point harness can be adjusted simultaneously with a one-hand mechanism to ensure a proper fit as your child grows.

1. Locate the headrest adjustment lever, usually at the top or back of the headrest.
2. Squeeze the lever and move the headrest up or down until the harness straps are at or just below your child's shoulders for rear-facing, or at or just above their shoulders for forward-facing.
3. Release the lever to lock the headrest in place.
4. To tighten the harness, pull the adjustment strap at the front of the seat. To loosen, press the harness release button (usually under a flap) and pull the shoulder straps outwards.

5.3. Reclining Positions

6. Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning the Fabric Covers: The fabric covers can be removed for cleaning. Refer to the care label on the covers for specific washing instructions (typically hand wash or gentle machine wash with mild detergent). Do not use harsh chemicals or bleach.
• Cleaning the Plastic Parts: Wipe plastic parts with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Harness Care: Inspect the harness straps regularly for any signs of wear, fraying, or damage. Clean straps with a damp cloth; do not immerse in water or use harsh chemicals, as this can weaken the material.
• Storage: When not in use, store the car seat in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your FP360 I-Size car seat, refer to the following common solutions:

• Car Seat Feels Loose After Installation: Ensure ISOFIX connectors are fully engaged (green indicators visible) and the support leg is firmly braced against the floor. Push the seat firmly into the vehicle seat back.
