3. Installation

This shower system is designed for wall-mount installation and is compatible with American standard 1/2 inch NPT plumbing connections. Professional installation is recommended.

Installation Steps:

  1. Prepare Plumbing: Ensure your existing plumbing is ready for a wall-mount exposed shower system. An extended fitting may be required depending on your wall setup.
  2. Mount the Main Unit: Securely attach the main thermostatic valve unit to the wall, ensuring it is level and properly sealed to prevent leaks.
  3. Install Vertical Bar: Attach the vertical slide bar to the main unit and secure it to the wall using the provided mounting hardware.
  4. Connect Rain Shower Head: Attach the 9.8-inch square rain shower head to the top arm of the vertical bar. Ensure all connections are tight.
  5. Attach Hand Shower and Hose: Connect the shower hose to the main unit and the handheld shower. Place the handheld shower into its adjustable bracket on the slide bar.
  6. Test for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply and check all connections for leaks. Address any leaks immediately.

4. Operation

Operating your CASAINC shower system is straightforward. Familiarize yourself with the controls for temperature and spray selection.

Temperature Control:

  • The left knob controls the water temperature.
  • The thermostatic valve is preset to 38°C (100°F) for safety. To increase the temperature beyond this point, press and hold the safety button on the knob while turning it.
  • Turn the knob counter-clockwise for hotter water and clockwise for cooler water.

Water Outlet Selection (Diverter):

  • The right knob functions as the 3-way diverter.
  • Rotate this knob to switch between the overhead rain shower, handheld shower, and bathtub spout.

Hand Shower Spray Modes:

  • The handheld shower offers three distinct spray patterns.
  • Adjust the spray pattern by rotating the head of the handheld shower.
  • Available modes: Power Rain + Massage, Power Rain, and Massage.

Adjusting Hand Shower Height:

  • Loosen the adjustment switch on the slide bar to move the handheld shower bracket up or down.
  • The bracket can also swivel to adjust the angle of the handheld shower.

5. Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your CASAINC shower system.

  • Cleaning: Clean the shower system regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the brushed nickel finish.
  • Water Spots: To prevent water spots, wipe the system dry after each use.
  • Nozzle Cleaning: The nozzles on the rain shower head and handheld shower are designed for easy cleaning. Gently rub the rubber nozzles to dislodge any mineral buildup.
  • Hose Care: Periodically check the shower hose for kinks or damage. Replace if necessary.

If you encounter any issues with your shower system, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
