4. Operating the Monitor

- With the palm facing up, wrap the cuff around the left arm.
- Make sure the trachea is on the extension line of the middle finger of the arm (2-3cm from the elbow joint).
- There should be a finger width between the arm and the cuff, and the cuff should be glued tightly.
- Keep arm straight with your palms facing up. Ensure cuff is parallel to heart, tube faces down and does not fold.

Taking a Measurement:
