4.1 Connecting Your Devices

Follow these steps to connect your HDMI source devices to the switch and then to your display:

  1. Connect up to three HDMI source devices (e.g., PS5, Xbox, Apple TV, Blu-ray player) to the HDMI Input ports (INPUT 1, INPUT 2, INPUT 3) on the Fosmon HDMI Switch.
  2. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI Output port on the Fosmon HDMI Switch.
  3. Connect the other end of this HDMI cable to the HDMI Input port on your display (e.g., TV, monitor, projector).
  4. For optimal performance, especially with 8K resolutions, ensure all HDMI cables used are HDMI 2.1 compliant and are under 3 meters (9.8 feet) in length.

4.2 Powering the Switch
