Introduction

Setup and First Use

1. Unpack the appliance and all accessories from the box. Remove any packaging materials, stickers, or labels.
2. Wipe down the exterior of the oven with a clean, damp cloth.
3. Wash all removable accessories (air fry basket, baking rack, broil pan, crumb tray) with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
4. Place the oven on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface, ensuring adequate clearance (at least 4 inches) on all sides for proper ventilation.
5. Insert the crumb tray at the bottom of the oven.
6. Before first use, it is recommended to run the oven empty for about 15 minutes at 400°F (200°C) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present, which is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

Operating Instructions

The Chefman Toast-Air® offers 7 versatile cooking functions. Familiarize yourself with the control knobs:

• Temperature Knob: Adjusts temperature from 200°F to 450°F. Includes a specific setting for TOAST/BROIL.
• Function Knob: Selects cooking mode (Air Fry, Broil, Convection Broil, Keep Warm, Toast, Convection Bake, Bake).
• Timer Knob: Sets cooking time up to 60 minutes.
• Toast Timer Knob: Specifically for toast shade (Light, Medium, Dark) or up to 10 minutes.
• Light Button: Activates the interior oven light.

General Operation Steps:

1. Place food on the appropriate accessory (air fry basket, baking rack, or broil pan).
2. Insert the accessory into the desired rack position inside the oven.
3. Close the oven door.
4. Turn the Function Knob to select your desired cooking mode.
5. Turn the Temperature Knob to set the desired temperature (if applicable for the selected function).
6. Turn the Timer Knob to set the desired cooking time. The oven will begin preheating and cooking.
7. The oven light can be turned on or off at any time using the Light button.
8. The oven will automatically shut off when the timer reaches zero or if the door is opened during operation.

Specific Cooking Functions:

Air Fry:

Ideal for achieving crispy results with little to no oil. Use the air fry basket for best circulation.

• Set Function Knob to "Air Fry".
• Set Temperature Knob to desired air fry temperature (e.g., 375°F for fries).
• Set Timer Knob for cooking duration.

Bake / Convection Bake:

For baking cakes, cookies, casseroles, and more. Convection bake uses a fan for faster, more even cooking.

• Set Function Knob to "Bake" or "Convection Bake".
• Set Temperature Knob to desired baking temperature.
• Set Timer Knob for cooking duration.

Broil / Convection Broil:

Use for browning, melting, or cooking thin cuts of meat. Convection broil adds fan circulation.

• Set Function Knob to "Broil" or "Convection Broil".
• Set Temperature Knob to "TOAST/BROIL" (450°F).
• Set Timer Knob for cooking duration.

Toast:

Perfect for bread, bagels, and pastries. Use the Toast Timer Knob for precise browning.

• Set Function Knob to "Toast".
• Set Temperature Knob to "TOAST/BROIL" (450°F). This is crucial for the toast function to activate.
• Use the Toast Timer Knob to select desired shade (Light, Medium, Dark) or set a specific time up to 10 minutes.

Keep Warm:

Maintains food at a serving temperature without further cooking.

• Set Function Knob to "Keep Warm".
• Set Timer Knob for desired warming duration.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Chefman Toast-Air® oven.

1. Always unplug the oven from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Remove the crumb tray and discard any crumbs. Wash the crumb tray, air fry basket, baking rack, and broil pan in warm, soapy water or place them in the dishwasher. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
3. Wipe the interior walls of the oven with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive sponge. Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners.
4. Clean the exterior of the oven with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
5. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing the oven.
