Setup
1. Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the 1.5Ah Lithium-Ion battery. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet and insert the battery pack. The charger's indicator light will show the charging status. Once fully charged, disconnect the battery from the charger.
2. Installing/Removing the Battery
To install the battery, align the battery pack with the base of the drill handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place. To remove, press the release button on the battery pack and slide it out.
3. Installing Drill Bits/Accessories
The 3/8-inch keyless chuck allows for easy installation of bits. Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to open the jaws. Insert the desired drill bit or accessory, ensuring it is fully seated. Rotate the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws securely around the bit. Always ensure the bit is centered and firmly gripped before operation.
Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off and Speed Control
The drill is activated by pressing the variable speed trigger. The speed of the drill increases as you press the trigger further. Release the trigger to stop the drill. The drill also features an electric brake for immediate stopping.
2. Adjusting Torque Settings
The torque collar, located behind the chuck, allows you to select from 64+1 torque settings. Rotate the collar to the desired setting. Lower settings are for driving screws to prevent over-tightening or stripping, while higher settings are for drilling into harder materials.
3. Forward/Reverse Operation
The forward/reverse switch is located above the trigger. Push the switch to the left for forward (clockwise) rotation, and to the right for reverse (counter-clockwise) rotation. Ensure the switch is in the center position to lock the trigger and prevent accidental starting.
4. Using the LED Work Light
