1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the SKYEAR G40-M Endoscope. This device is designed for visual inspection in hard-to-reach areas, providing clear 1080P HD images and video on its integrated 4.3-inch IPS screen. Its semi-rigid cable and adjustable LED lighting make it suitable for various industrial and household inspection tasks. 4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Device

The endoscope is equipped with a built-in Lithium Polymer battery. Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB charging cable. Connect the USB cable to the Type-C charging port on the device and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.

4.2. Attaching the Camera Cable

The semi-rigid camera cable is pre-attached to the main unit. Ensure it is securely fastened before use.

4.3. Attaching Accessories

The endoscope comes with a magnet, hook, and side mirror. These can be attached to the camera tip for specific inspection needs. Gently clip the desired accessory onto the end of the camera probe.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Powering On/Off

Press and hold the Power Button (located on the top of the main unit) to turn the endoscope on or off. The 4.3-inch IPS screen will display the boot-up sequence.

5.2. Adjusting LED Lights

The camera probe features 8 adjustable LED lights. Use the 'LED Adjustment +' and 'LED Adjustment -' buttons on the main unit to increase or decrease the brightness of the lights. This helps illuminate dark inspection areas.

5.3. Zoom and Contrast Adjustment

Use the 'Zoom In' and 'Zoom Out' buttons to adjust the magnification of the image on the screen. The device supports 3 magnification levels. You can also adjust the image contrast using the 'Enhance Sharp Contrast' and 'Reduce Sharp Contrast' buttons.

5.4. Image Rotation

The endoscope supports 180° image rotation. Use the 'To Rotate' button to flip the image on the screen, allowing for easier viewing in various orientations.

5.5. Using the Semi-Rigid Cable

The 16.4ft semi-rigid cable can be maneuvered into tight spaces. Gently guide the camera probe into the area you wish to inspect. The cable's flexibility allows it to navigate bends and curves.

5.6. Applications

The SKYEAR G40-M Endoscope is suitable for a wide range of applications, including:

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning the Camera Lens

After each use, especially in dirty or wet environments, gently wipe the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn grime, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying. Ensure no moisture enters the main unit.

6.2. Storage

Store the endoscope and its accessories in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Coil the semi-rigid cable neatly to prevent kinks or damage.

6.3. Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the device when the battery indicator is low. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% every few months.
