3. Setup

3.1 Hardware Installation

  1. Attach Antennas: Carefully screw the six detachable antennas into their corresponding ports on the router. Ensure they are securely fastened. Four antennas are for cellular connectivity (MIMO1, MIMO2, AUX1, AUX2) and two are for Wi-Fi (2.4GHz Wi-Fi, 5GHz Wi-Fi).

  2. Insert SIM Card(s): Open the SIM card slot cover on the side of the router. Insert your 5G/4G SIM card(s) into the designated SIM1 or SIM2 slots. The router supports dual-SIM for redundancy or carrier selection. Ensure the SIM card is correctly oriented.

  3. Connect Power: Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 12V input port on the router and plug it into a power outlet. The power LED indicator on the front panel will light up.

  4. Optional Ethernet Connection: For wired devices or connecting to an existing modem/router, use the Ethernet cable to connect to the LAN or 2.5G WAN port.

3.2 Initial Configuration

  1. Access Admin Panel: Connect your computer or mobile device to the router's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password are typically found on a sticker on the router). Open a web browser and navigate to http://192.168.8.1. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your administrator password and basic network settings.

  2. Network Mode Selection: Choose your preferred network mode (e.g., Cellular, Repeater, Ethernet WAN) based on your internet source. For cellular connectivity, ensure the correct APN settings are applied (often auto-detected).

4. Operating the Router

4.1 Internet Connectivity

Once configured, the router will automatically connect to the internet via your chosen method. The LED indicators on the front panel provide status updates:

  • Power LED: Solid green when powered on.
  • Internet LED: Indicates internet connection status (e.g., solid green for connected, blinking for activity).
  • Wi-Fi LED: Indicates Wi-Fi network status.
  • Cellular Signal Strength LEDs: Multiple LEDs indicate the strength of the cellular signal. More lit LEDs mean stronger signal.

4.2 Advanced Features

  • VPN Setup: Access the VPN section in the Admin Panel to configure OpenVPN or WireGuard client/server settings. This allows for secure and encrypted network traffic.

  • Dual-SIM Management: In the Admin Panel, manage your dual SIM cards, including setting up automatic failover to switch to the secondary SIM if the primary loses connection.
  • Multi-WAN Configuration: Configure multiple internet sources (e.g., cellular, Ethernet, Wi-Fi repeater) and set up load-balancing or failover priorities.
  • AdGuard Home: Enable AdGuard Home via the Admin Panel to block ads and online trackers across your network.

5. Maintenance

  • Firmware Updates: Regularly check for and install firmware updates via the Admin Panel to ensure optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
  • Cleaning: Keep the router clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Antenna Care: Ensure antennas are securely attached and not bent or damaged.
  • Optimal Placement: Place the router in a central location, away from obstructions and other electronic devices that may cause interference, to maximize Wi-Fi and cellular signal coverage.

6. Troubleshooting
