2. Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury.

2.1 General Safety

• Read all instructions before use.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before servicing.
• Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces unless specifically designed for such use.
• Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
• Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
• Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.

4. Assembly and Setup

Follow these steps for initial assembly and setup of your vacuum cleaner.

1. Attach the Wheeled Base: Securely attach the wheeled base to the bottom of the stainless steel container. Ensure all four castors are firmly in place for stability and maneuverability.
2. Install the Appropriate Filter:
   • For Dry Vacuuming (including ash): Install the HEPA filter and the heat-resistant filter. If using for general dry debris, you may also insert the dust bag for dry suction.
   • For Wet Vacuuming: Remove the HEPA filter and dust bag. Install the water filter.
3. Connect the Hose: Attach the flexible hose to the suction inlet on the vacuum unit. For ash vacuuming, use the heat-resistant flexible hose.
4. Assemble the Extension Tube and Nozzle: Connect the chrome telescopic tube to the flexible hose. Then, attach the desired nozzle (e.g., universal floor nozzle, upholstery nozzle) to the end of the telescopic tube.
5. Power Connection: Ensure the vacuum cleaner is switched off before plugging the 7-meter power cable into a suitable 230V electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

Your Zeegma ZONDER PRO MULTI offers multiple cleaning modes. Select the appropriate mode and accessories for your task.

5.1 Dry Vacuuming

• Ensure the HEPA filter and, if desired, the dust bag are installed.
• Attach the universal floor nozzle or other suitable dry cleaning nozzle.
• Turn on the vacuum cleaner using the power switch.
• Move the nozzle over the surface to be cleaned.

5.2 Wet Vacuuming

• Remove the HEPA filter and dust bag. Install the water filter.
• Attach a suitable nozzle for wet cleaning (e.g., universal floor nozzle without brushes, or upholstery nozzle for water extraction).
• Turn on the vacuum cleaner.
• Vacuum liquids. The 25L stainless steel container can hold a significant amount of liquid.
• Important: Do not overfill the container. Stop operation and empty the container when it reaches its maximum capacity.

5.3 Ash Vacuuming

• Ensure the HEPA filter and the heat-resistant filter are installed. Do not use a dust bag for ash.
• Use the heat-resistant flexible hose and the metal flat nozzle for ash.
• Only vacuum ash that has cooled down to a maximum of 60°C. Never vacuum burning or glowing embers.
• Turn on the vacuum cleaner and carefully vacuum the ash.

5.4 Blower Function

• To use the blower function, detach the flexible hose from the suction inlet and connect it to the blower outlet (usually located on the back or side of the motor head).
• Turn on the vacuum cleaner. It will now function as a blower, useful for clearing leaves or dust from surfaces.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your vacuum cleaner.

6.1 Filter Maintenance

• HEPA Filter: The HEPA filter has an automatic cleaning function. Periodically check its condition. If heavily soiled, gently tap it to dislodge dust or rinse it with water (ensure it is completely dry before re-installation).
• Water Filter: After wet vacuuming, remove and clean the water filter thoroughly with water. Allow it to air dry completely before storing or re-using.
• Heat-Resistant Filter: After ash vacuuming, remove and clean the heat-resistant filter. Tap off ash residue. Do not wash unless specified by manufacturer.
• Filter Protection: The filters are crucial for protecting the motor from damage and preventing fine dust leaks. Always ensure they are correctly installed and maintained.

6.2 Container Cleaning
