1. Plug the Eightree ET26 Smart WiFi Plug into a wall outlet.
2. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. (Note: 5GHz WiFi is not supported).
3. Open the Smart Life/Tuya Smart app. The app should automatically detect the new device via Bluetooth.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to add the device. You may need to confirm your WiFi network and password.
5. If the device is not automatically detected, press and hold the power button on the plug for 5-7 seconds until the indicator light blinks rapidly. Then, in the app, tap the '+' icon in the top right corner, select 'Electrical' > 'Socket (Wi-Fi)', and follow the instructions.
6. Once successfully paired, you can rename the plug for easier identification (e.g., 'Living Room Lamp', 'Coffee Machine').
