5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.
5.1 Emptying the Container
- Ensure the vacuum is turned off and unplugged.
- Unclip the latches on the sides of the container and carefully lift the motor unit off.
- Remove the filter assembly.
- Empty the contents of the stainless steel container into a suitable waste receptacle.
- Clean the inside of the container with a damp cloth if necessary.
- Reassemble the filters and motor unit, ensuring latches are securely fastened.
5.2 Cleaning and Replacing Filters
The Zeegma ZONDER Pro Ash uses a multi-stage filtration system. Regular cleaning is crucial for maintaining suction power and air quality.
- HEPA Filter: Tap the HEPA filter gently to dislodge accumulated dust. For thorough cleaning, rinse under cold running water. Ensure it is completely dry before reinstallation. Replace the HEPA filter every 6-12 months, or sooner if damaged or heavily soiled.
- Fabric Filter: Shake off dust or wash gently with mild soap and water. Allow to air dry completely before reattaching.
- Heat-Resistant Filter: This filter primarily protects the other filters from larger debris and some heat. Shake off any collected ash. Do not wash if it's a metal mesh type; simply clean it dry.
