Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your vacuum cleaner.

  1. Ensure the vacuum is turned off and unplugged.
  2. Unclip the latches on the sides of the container and carefully lift the motor unit off.
  3. Remove the filter assembly.
  4. Empty the contents of the stainless steel container into a suitable waste receptacle.
  5. Clean the inside of the container with a damp cloth if necessary.
  6. Reassemble the filters and motor unit, ensuring latches are securely fastened.

5.2 Cleaning and Replacing Filters

The Zeegma ZONDER Pro Ash uses a multi-stage filtration system. Regular cleaning is crucial for maintaining suction power and air quality.

  • HEPA Filter: Tap the HEPA filter gently to dislodge accumulated dust. For thorough cleaning, rinse under cold running water. Ensure it is completely dry before reinstallation. Replace the HEPA filter every 6-12 months, or sooner if damaged or heavily soiled.
  • Fabric Filter: Shake off dust or wash gently with mild soap and water. Allow to air dry completely before reattaching.
  • Heat-Resistant Filter: This filter primarily protects the other filters from larger debris and some heat. Shake off any collected ash. Do not wash if it's a metal mesh type; simply clean it dry.
