Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  1. Read all instructions before using this heater.
  2. This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
  3. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  4. Always unplug the heater when not in use.
  5. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped, or damaged in any manner.
  6. Do not use outdoors.
  7. Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  8. To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
  9. Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  10. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  11. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
  12. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  13. This heater includes a tip-over safety switch and overheat protection. If the heater tips over or overheats, it will automatically shut off.

Setup

Before first use, ensure the heater is placed on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the heater (at least 3 feet from walls, furniture, and curtains) to allow for proper airflow and prevent fire hazards. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (220V).

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press the power button on the control panel or remote control to turn the heater on or off. The LED display will illuminate when the heater is active.

Heating Modes

The heater offers three operating modes: High Heat (2000W), Low Heat (1400W), and Fan Only (40W). Use the mode button on the control panel or remote to cycle through these options.

Temperature Adjustment

Adjust the desired temperature using the '+' and '-' buttons on the control panel or remote. The thermostat allows for temperature settings between 18°C and 45°C in 1°C increments. The heater will automatically maintain the set temperature.

Oscillation Function

Press the oscillation button to activate the 60° oscillation feature, which helps distribute heat more evenly across the room. Press again to stop oscillation.

Timer Function

The heater includes an 8-hour timer. Press the timer button to set the desired operating duration. The heater will automatically shut off once the set time expires.

Remote Control

The included remote control allows for convenient operation of all functions from a distance. Ensure the remote has a working battery (not included with some models) and is pointed towards the heater's control panel.

Safety Features

Your ADVWIN heater is equipped with advanced safety mechanisms:

  • Tip-Over Protection: The heater will automatically shut off if it is accidentally knocked over. It will resume operation once placed upright again.
  • Overheat Protection: If the internal components reach an unsafe temperature, the heater will automatically power down to prevent damage or fire. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before attempting to restart.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Do not immerse the heater in water. Periodically vacuum the air intake and exhaust grilles to remove dust and lint.

Storage

When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.

Troubleshooting

  • Heater does not turn on:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
    • Check if the household circuit breaker has tripped.
    • Verify the heater is on a flat, stable surface to ensure the tip-over switch is engaged.
    • Allow the heater to cool down if the overheat protection has been activated.
  • Heater produces no heat:
    • Confirm that a heating mode (2000W or 1400W) is selected, not just the fan mode.
    • Check the set temperature; it should be higher than the ambient room temperature.
  • Heater is noisy:
    • Some fan noise is normal during operation.
    • Ensure the heater is on a stable, level surface to minimize vibrations.
    • Clean any dust or debris from the air intake/exhaust grilles.
