4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Tablet

Before first use, fully charge your DOOGEE R10 tablet.

  1. Connect the USB cable to the tablet's Type-C port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the provided charger.
  3. Plug the charger into a power outlet.
  4. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes about 3 hours with the 18W fast charger.

4.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (located on the side) until the DOOGEE logo appears.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the power options menu appears, then select "Power off".
  • To Restart: Press and hold the Power button until the power options menu appears, then select "Restart".

4.3 Initial Setup

When you power on the tablet for the first time, you will be guided through the initial setup process:

  1. Select your language.
  2. Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  3. Sign in with your Google account or create a new one.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to set up security (PIN, pattern, fingerprint), restore data, and configure other settings.

4.4 Inserting SIM/TF Card

The DOOGEE R10 supports expandable storage via a TF (microSD) card.

  1. Locate the SIM/TF card tray on the side of the tablet.
  2. Use the provided SIM ejector tool to open the tray.
  3. Carefully place the TF card into the designated slot on the tray. Ensure it is correctly oriented.
  4. Gently push the tray back into the tablet until it clicks into place.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Navigation

  • Touch Gestures: Tap, swipe, pinch-to-zoom, and long-press are standard Android gestures.
  • Home Screen: Access apps, widgets, and customize your layout.
  • Notification Panel: Swipe down from the top of the screen to access notifications and quick settings.
  • App Drawer: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to view all installed applications.

5.2 Connecting to Wi-Fi

  1. Go to Settings > Network & internet.
  2. Toggle Wi-Fi to On.
  3. Select your desired Wi-Fi network from the list.
  4. Enter the password if prompted, then tap Connect.

5.3 Using Cameras

The DOOGEE R10 features a 20MP rear camera and a 16MP front camera.

  • Open the Camera app.
  • Tap the camera switch icon to alternate between front and rear cameras.
  • Tap the shutter button to take a photo or start/stop video recording.

5.4 GPS and Positioning

The tablet supports 5 major positioning systems for accurate navigation: GPS, Beidou, Galileo, Glonass, and AGPS.

  • Ensure Location services are enabled in Settings > Location.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body.
  • For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen cleaner.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive materials, or aerosol sprays.

6.2 Water and Dust Resistance

The DOOGEE R10 is IP68/IP69K rated, meaning it is resistant to dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. While rugged, proper care is still essential:

  • Ensure all port covers are securely closed before exposing the tablet to water or dust.
  • Do not intentionally submerge the tablet in water, especially saltwater or chlorinated water.
  • If the tablet gets wet, dry it thoroughly with a clean cloth before charging or connecting accessories.

6.3 Battery Care

  • Avoid exposing the tablet to extreme temperatures (below 0°C or above 45°C).
  • Use only the original charger and cable provided with the tablet.
  • For long-term storage, charge the battery to about 50% and power off the device.

7. Troubleshooting
