4.1 Controls and Ports

  • ON/VOLUME/OFF Knob: Rotates to power on/off and adjust volume.
  • LED Display: Shows current mode, track information, and FM frequency.
  • PLAY/PAUSE/SKIP Buttons: Controls media playback and track navigation.
  • FM Radio Button: Switches to FM radio mode.
  • MIC Port: 6.35mm input for a microphone (not included).
  • AUX Jack: 3.5mm input for external audio devices.
  • USB Input: For playing audio from a USB flash drive.
  • TF/SD Card Slot: For playing audio from a TF/SD memory card.
  • Charging Port (Micro USB): For charging the internal battery.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the Micro USB end of the charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
  2. Connect the USB-A end of the charging cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The LED indicator will show charging status. Allow approximately 3-4 hours for a full charge.
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable.

5.2 Powering On/Off

Rotate the ON/VOLUME/OFF knob clockwise to power on the speaker. Rotate it counter-clockwise until it clicks to power off.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED.
  2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "Coby CPA915" from the list of devices.
  4. Once paired, the speaker will emit a confirmation tone, and the LED will stop flashing. You can now play audio from your device.

6.2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve a stereo sound experience, you can pair two Coby CPA915 speakers together (second speaker sold separately).

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (not connected to any device).
  2. On one of the speakers, press and hold the TWS button (refer to Figure 2 for location). The speaker will indicate it's searching for another TWS device.
  3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. A confirmation tone will sound.
  4. Now, connect your mobile device to one of the paired speakers via Bluetooth as described in Section 6.1. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.

6.3 FM Radio Operation

  1. Press the FM Radio button to switch to FM mode.
  2. Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
  3. Use the SKIP buttons to navigate between saved stations.

6.4 USB/TF Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive or TF/SD card (with audio files) into the respective port/slot.
  2. The speaker will automatically detect the storage device and begin playing audio.
  3. Use the PLAY/PAUSE/SKIP buttons to control playback.

6.5 AUX Input

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX jack on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end to the audio output of your external device.
  3. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode. Adjust volume on both the speaker and your external device.

6.6 Karaoke Function

  1. Connect a compatible microphone (not included) to the MIC port on the speaker.
  2. Adjust the microphone volume using the dedicated control (if available) or the main volume knob.
  3. Play music through any of the available input modes (Bluetooth, USB, TF, AUX) and sing along.

6.7 LED Light Control

The speaker features a full-color LED light body that cycles through various RGB colors. The lights are synchronized with the music playback. There is no specific button to control the light patterns; they operate automatically when the speaker is on.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the speaker. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, charge the speaker fully before long periods of storage and recharge it at least once every three months.

8. Troubleshooting
