4. Product Overview

4.1 Speaker Layout

The Umbro speaker features a sleek, cylindrical design with controls located on the underside or side panel, and various input ports at the rear.

4.2 Controls and Ports

Familiarize yourself with the buttons and ports on your speaker:

• Power Button: Press and hold to turn the speaker On/Off.
• Mode (M) Button: Press to switch between Bluetooth, FM Radio, AUX, SD card, and USB modes.
• Play/Pause Button: Press to play or pause audio. Also used to answer/end phone calls.
• Volume Up (+) / Next Track Button: Press to increase volume. Double-press to skip to the next track.
• Volume Down (-) / Previous Track Button: Press to decrease volume. Double-press to go to the previous track.
• Micro USB Port: For charging the speaker.
• USB-A Port: For USB drive playback and power bank function.
• SD Card Slot: For SD card playback.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Speaker

1. Connect the supplied Micro USB cable to the speaker's Micro USB port.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The charging indicator light will illuminate.
4. A full charge takes approximately 5 to 6 hours. The indicator light will change or turn off once charging is complete.

Note: For optimal battery life, fully charge the speaker before first use.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

• To turn ON: Press and hold the Power button until you hear an audible prompt.
• To turn OFF: Press and hold the Power button until the speaker powers down.

6.2 Bluetooth Connection

1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by an audible prompt.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your device (smartphone, tablet, computer).
3. Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "UMBRO SPEAKER" from the list.
4. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
5. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.

Note: The speaker has a Bluetooth range of up to 10 meters. Ensure your device is within this range for a stable connection.

6.3 Playing Music from Other Sources

Press the Mode (M) button to cycle through the available input modes: Bluetooth, FM Radio, AUX, SD Card, and USB.

• SD Card: Insert a formatted SD card (up to 32GB) with audio files into the SD card slot. The speaker will automatically switch to SD card mode and begin playback.
• USB Drive: Insert a USB flash drive with audio files into the USB-A port. The speaker will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playback.
• AUX Input: Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the speaker's AUX input and the other end to the audio output of your external device. Switch the speaker to AUX mode.

6.4 FM Radio Operation

1. Press the Mode (M) button to switch to FM Radio mode.
2. Press and hold the Play/Pause button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
3. Once scanning is complete, use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons to navigate between saved stations.

6.5 Call Function

When connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone:

• Answer a call: Press the Play/Pause button once.
• End a call: Press the Play/Pause button once.
• Reject a call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button.

6.6 Using as a Power Bank

The speaker can be used to charge other devices:

1. Connect your mobile device's charging cable to the speaker's USB-A port.
2. The speaker will begin charging your device.

Note: Using the power bank function will consume the speaker's battery. Ensure the speaker has sufficient charge before using this feature.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
