1. Product Overview

The Zyerch Stylus Pencil is designed to enhance your digital writing and drawing experience on compatible iPad models. It features a precise 1.6mm tip for accurate strokes, palm rejection technology for comfortable use without gloves, and tilt sensitivity for shading effects. The pen is motion-activated to conserve power and charges via a Type-C cable.

2. Compatibility

This stylus pen is compatible with iPad models from 2018 and later. Before use, please confirm your iPad model. You can find your iPad model name in Settings > General > About, or by checking the model number (A+5 digits) on the back of your iPad.

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Stylus Pencil

The stylus pen charges quickly and conveniently using a Type-C cable. A full charge provides up to 9 hours of continuous working time and 90 days of standby time. The charging time is approximately 30 minutes.

  • Connect the provided Type-C cable to the charging port on the stylus pen.
  • Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible USB power source.
  • The indicator light will show charging status (green for 20-100%, red for below 20%).

3.2 Power On/Off and Pairing

The stylus pen features a motion-activated design. It will enter sleep mode after 5 minutes of inactivity to save power. Simply pick up the pen to reactivate it.

  • To power on, press the button on the end of the stylus. The indicator light will illuminate.
  • To power off, press the button again.
  • The stylus pen is designed for easy pairing. For most compatible iPad models, it will connect automatically upon activation. If manual pairing is required, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPad and select the stylus from the Bluetooth devices list.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Palm Rejection

The stylus incorporates palm-rejection technology, allowing you to rest your hand naturally on the iPad screen without interfering with your writing or drawing. This feature provides a comfortable and precise experience, eliminating the need for special gloves.

4.2 Tilt Sensitivity

The stylus supports tilt sensitivity, allowing you to create varying line thicknesses and shading effects by simply tilting the pen. This mimics the natural feel of using a traditional pencil for artistic applications.

4.3 Magnetic Adsorption

The stylus pen features a magnetic adsorption design, allowing it to attach conveniently to the side of your iPad for easy storage and portability. This helps prevent the pen from rolling away or getting lost.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Replacing Pen Nibs

The stylus pen comes with 2 extra pen nibs to extend its lifespan. To replace a nib:

  1. Gently twist the old nib counter-clockwise to remove it.
  2. Align the new nib with the pen tip and twist clockwise until it is securely in place.

5.2 Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance, gently wipe the stylus body and tip with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Pen not responding: Ensure the pen is charged and powered on. Re-pair the pen with your iPad via Bluetooth if necessary.
  • Inconsistent lines or skipping: Ensure the nib is securely attached. If the issue persists, try replacing the nib with one of the spares.
  • Palm rejection not working: Verify that your iPad model supports palm rejection with third-party styluses.
