3. Setup and Assembly
3.1 Battery Installation
- Ensure the tool is powered off.
- Align the battery with the battery slot at the base of the tool's handle.
- Slide the battery firmly into place until it clicks, indicating it is securely locked.
- To remove, press the battery release button (if present) and slide the battery out.
3.2 Die Installation
- Select the appropriate die size (e.g., 16, 25, 35, 50, 70, 95, 120, 150, 185, 240, 300, 400 mm²) for your cable lug.
- Open the crimping head by rotating the head or releasing the latch, depending on the design.
- Insert the selected dies into the designated slots within the crimping head. Ensure they are seated correctly and securely.
- Close the crimping head.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Pre-Operation Check
- Verify that the correct dies are installed for the cable lug size.
- Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely installed. Check the digital display for battery level.
- Inspect the crimping head for any obstructions or damage.
4.2 Crimping Procedure
- Prepare the cable by stripping the insulation to the appropriate length for the lug.
- Insert the stripped cable into the cable lug.
- Position the cable lug and cable between the installed dies in the crimping head. Ensure the lug is centered and stable.
- Press and hold the Start button (trigger) to initiate the crimping process. The hydraulic mechanism will advance, closing the dies and crimping the lug.
- The tool features automatic pressure relief; it will stop when the crimp is complete and the dies will retract automatically.
- If the dies do not retract automatically, press the Resume Button to manually restore the piston.
- Remove the crimped cable and lug from the tool.
