2. Setup Guide

2.2 App Download and Account Creation
- Download the WUUK app from your device's app store (iOS or Android).

2.3 Homebase Setup
The Homebase acts as the central hub for your WUUK devices and stores recordings locally.
- Power On: Connect the Homebase to a power outlet using the provided adapter.
- Network Connection: Connect the Homebase to your router via the Ethernet cable for a stable wired connection, or follow the app instructions to connect it wirelessly to your 2.4/5 GHz WiFi network.

2.4 Doorbell Camera Pairing
- In the WUUK app, select 'Add Device' and choose the doorbell camera.
- Follow the app's instructions to pair the doorbell with the Homebase. This typically involves pressing a sync button on both devices.
2.5 Installation Options
The doorbell camera offers flexible installation methods:
- Wireless (Battery Powered): Mount the doorbell using the provided screw pack or adhesive tape. Ensure the location has good WiFi signal strength.
- Wired: Connect the doorbell to your existing doorbell wiring (8~24VAC) for continuous power and charging. This eliminates the need for manual battery recharging.

3.1 Using the WUUK App

4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Charging
If your doorbell is battery-powered, monitor the battery level in the WUUK app. When low, remove the doorbell from its mount and charge it using the Type-C USB cable. For wired installations, the battery charges automatically.

4.2 Cleaning the Camera Lens
Periodically clean the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth to ensure optimal video clarity. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
4.3 Firmware Updates

5.1 Connectivity Issues
- No Connection: Ensure the Homebase is powered on and connected to your network (either via Ethernet or WiFi). Check your router's internet connection.
- Weak WiFi Signal: If the doorbell camera is far from the Homebase or router, consider repositioning the Homebase or using a WiFi extender. The system supports 2.4/5 GHz WiFi.
- Reboot Devices: Try rebooting your router, Homebase, and doorbell camera (if battery-powered, remove and reinsert the battery) to resolve temporary glitches.

5.2 Motion Detection Inaccuracies
- Too Many Alerts: Adjust the motion sensitivity settings in the app. Utilize human detection and customize detection zones to focus on relevant areas and reduce false alarms.
- Missed Events: Increase motion sensitivity. Ensure the camera's view is clear and not obstructed.
5.3 Night Vision Performance
If night vision appears dim or unclear, ensure there are no reflective surfaces close to the camera that could interfere with the infrared illumination.
