Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the smoking gun.
2. Push the battery lock button upward and slide the battery cover forward to remove it.
3. Insert 4 PCS AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Slide the cover back until it clicks into place, aligning the arrow with the lock symbol.

2. Assembling the Smoking Gun

• Attach the flexible hose to the smoke outlet port on the front of the smoking gun. Ensure it is securely fitted.
• If using the disk lid, insert the metal nozzle of the hose into the rubber grommet on the lid.

Operating Instructions

1. Prepare Wood Chips: Place a small amount of wood chips (approximately 1/4 of the bowl) into the top chamber of the smoking gun. Do not overfill.
2. Turn On: Press the power button on the smoking gun to activate the fan.
3. Ignite Chips: Using a lighter or kitchen torch, ignite the wood chips in the chamber. Allow them to smolder, producing smoke.
4. Apply Smoke: Direct the flexible hose towards the food or drink you wish to infuse. For best results, use a covered container, cloche, or sealed bag to trap the smoke.
5. Infusion Time: Smoke for 30 seconds to 2 minutes, depending on the desired intensity of flavor. Less is often more.
6. Turn Off: Once sufficient smoke is generated, turn off the smoking gun. Allow the smoke to settle in the container for a few minutes before serving.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Unit

• Ensure the smoking gun is completely cool before cleaning.
• Unscrew the metal chamber from the main unit.
• Remove the mesh filter from the chamber.
• Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any ash or residue from the chamber and mesh filter.
• The chamber and mesh filter can be washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling.
• Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
• Clean the flexible hose by blowing air through it or using a pipe cleaner if necessary.

Storage
