4. Setup
4.1 Placement

4.2 Electrical Connection
Plug the power cord into a standard 120V 60Hz grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips with this appliance.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Control Panel Overview
The control panel is located on the top right of the unit. It includes buttons for Power, Flame Control, Heater Control, and Timer.

5.2 Remote Control Overview
The included remote control allows for convenient operation of all fireplace functions from a distance. It features buttons for Power, Flame Control, Heater Control, Temperature Adjustment, and Timer.
5.3 Power On/Off
- Press the Power button on the control panel or remote to turn the unit on or off.
5.4 Adjusting Flame Brightness
- Press the Flame button on the control panel or remote to cycle through 4 levels of flame brightness.
5.5 Adjusting Heat Settings
- Press the Heater button on the control panel or remote to activate the heating function.
- Use the Temperature Up/Down buttons on the remote to adjust the desired temperature between 64°F and 82°F.

5.6 Setting the Timer
- Press the Timer button on the control panel or remote to set the automatic shut-off timer from 1 to 8 hours.
5.7 Fire Crackling Sound
- The unit includes realistic fire crackling sounds. These can be turned on or off using the remote control. Refer to the remote control diagram for the specific button.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Always disconnect the power before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.
- Clean the glass front with a soft cloth and a glass cleaner.

7. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the unit is properly plugged into a working 120V outlet. Check the circuit breaker.
- Heater Not Working: Verify the heater function is activated. Check the temperature setting; if the room temperature is above the set temperature, the heater will not activate.
- Remote Control Not Working: Check and replace the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the fireplace sensor.
- Unit Shuts Off Automatically: This may indicate the overheating protection system has activated. Unplug the unit, allow it to cool for 10-15 minutes, and check for any blocked vents before restarting.
