Thank you for choosing the Homemate Heated Electric Blanket. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your new electric blanket. Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain this manual for future reference.

The Homemate Electric Blanket is designed for comfort and warmth, featuring ultra-soft flannel, 10 heating levels, an 8-hour auto-off function, and overheat protection. It is ETL Certified for safety.

Important Safety Information

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, OR INJURY.

  • This electric blanket is designed for use only on 120V, 60HZ power supply.
  • ETL Certified: This product has passed the American safety UL964 Test and obtained ETL certification.
  • Overheat Protection: The blanket uses NTC overheating protection technology and an 8-hour auto shut-off to prevent overheating.
  • Do not plug the main power cord into the wall outlet until you have completely set up your heated product.
  • Disconnected power cord from the wall before detaching controller cord from your heated product.
  • Do not use with infants, very small children, people with disabilities, anyone immobile, or individuals insensitive to heat.
  • Do not use if you cannot understand these directions.
  • Never dry clean or use bleach on the blanket.
  • Never submerge cords or the control unit in water.
  • Never iron your heated blanket.

Please pay attention to reading the instructions and avoid improper operations, which can avoid safety problems and prolong the service life of the electric blanket.

Setup

  1. Unpack the electric blanket and lay it flat on your bed.
  2. Locate the connector port(s) on the blanket. For Queen size, there are typically two connectors, one for each side of the bed.
  3. Connect the controller(s) to the blanket. Ensure the connectors are firmly inserted. The connectors are designed to fit only one way.
  4. Plug the power cord(s) from the controller(s) into a 120V, 60HZ wall outlet. Ensure the cord is not pinched or covered by the blanket or furniture.

Operating Instructions

The Homemate Electric Blanket features an easy-to-use controller with a single button for temperature and time adjustments.

  1. Turning On: Press the power button on the controller to turn on the blanket. The LED display will illuminate.
  2. Adjusting Heat Levels: The blanket has 10 heat levels, ranging from 86°F to 113°F. Press the "TEMP" button to cycle through the heat settings (L1-L9, then H for highest).
  3. Setting Auto-Off Timer: The blanket features an 8-hour auto shut-off. You can adjust the timer by pressing the "TIME" button. Available settings are 1, 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours.
  4. Turning Off: Press the power button again to turn off the blanket. It is recommended to unplug the blanket from the wall outlet when not in use.

Maintenance

Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your electric blanket.

  • Before Washing: Always disconnect all cords and detach the controller(s) from the blanket. Never submerge cords or the control unit in water.
  • Machine Washing: Place the textile portion of the blanket (without cords) in the washing machine. Machine wash warm on a gentle or delicate cycle.
  • Drying: For best results, air-dry the blanket. If using a dryer, use a low-temperature setting. Do not plug in the blanket until it is completely dry.
  • Do Not: Never dry clean, use bleach, or iron your heated blanket.

Troubleshooting

If your electric blanket is not functioning as expected, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:

  • Blanket does not heat up after plugging in: Ensure the main power cord is fully plugged into the wall outlet and the controller cord is completely connected to the blanket. The blanket should be fully set up before plugging into the wall.
  • Controller gets warm: It is normal for the controller to feel slightly warm during operation. However, if it becomes excessively hot, unplug immediately and contact customer support.
  • Settings do not save: The blanket's settings (heat and time) typically reset to default (lowest heat, maximum time) when turned off or unplugged. Adjust settings each time you use the blanket.
