3. Setup Guide

3.1 Charging the Device

1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the charging port on the otoscope.

3.3 Connecting to Wi-Fi

1. Ensure the otoscope is sufficiently charged.

3.4 Attaching a Speculum

1. Select a clean, protective ear speculum from the included accessories.
2. Gently push the speculum onto the tip of the otoscope probe until it is securely in place. Ensure it is firmly attached to prevent it from detaching during use.
3. Always use a clean speculum for each examination to maintain hygiene.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On and Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the power button for approximately 2-3 seconds until the indicator lights illuminate.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the power button again for approximately 2-3 seconds until the indicator lights turn off.

4.2 Performing an Examination

1. Ensure the otoscope is powered on and connected to the MOBI Smart App on your device.
2. Gently insert the speculum-covered probe tip into the area you wish to examine (ear canal, nostril, or mouth).
3. Observe the live feed on your smartphone or tablet. Adjust the angle and depth of insertion carefully to get a clear view.
4. The multi-axis gyroscope helps maintain a stable image orientation, but steady hand movements are crucial for clarity.

4.3 Capturing Images and Videos

Within the MOBI Smart App, you will find controls for capturing media:

• Image Capture: Tap the camera icon to take a still photograph of the current view.
• Video Recording: Tap the video camera icon to start recording. Tap it again to stop recording.
• All captured images and videos are saved directly to your connected smartphone or tablet's gallery.
