3. Setup and Assembly

The Saker Mini Chainsaw is designed for tool-free installation and quick setup.

Battery Installation:

1. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
2. Align the battery pack with the base of the chainsaw handle.
3. Slide the battery into place until it clicks securely.
4. To remove, press the release button on the battery and slide it out.

Chain Installation and Adjustment:

1. Unscrew the bar tightening knob to open the cover plate.
2. Carefully remove the old chain and guide plate if replacing.
3. Place the new chain onto the guide plate, ensuring the cutting direction is correct (refer to diagram on guide plate).
4. Install the guide plate with the chain, holding it steady.
5. Close the cover plate and tighten the knob.
6. Adjust chain tightness: The chain should be slightly taut, allowing for a pull of 2-3mm from the guide plate.
7. Apply lubricant to the chain before operation to ensure smooth cutting and extend chain life.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your Saker Mini Chainsaw.

Starting the Chainsaw:

1. Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely installed.
2. Hold the chainsaw firmly with one hand on the main handle.
3. Press and hold the safety switch (usually a button or lever near the trigger).
4. While holding the safety switch, press the trigger to start the chain.

Cutting Techniques:

• Always ensure the material to be cut is stable and secure.
• Begin cutting with the bottom edge of the guide bar, allowing the chain to pull itself into the wood.
• Apply steady, even pressure. Do not force the chainsaw through the cut.
• For larger branches, make a relief cut on the underside first to prevent pinching.
• Avoid cutting near the ground to prevent the chain from hitting dirt or rocks, which can dull it quickly.
• The chainsaw is designed for one-handed operation, making it easy to maneuver in tight spaces.
