Note: AA 1.5 Volt carbon batteries are required for operation and are not included in the package.
Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the alarm clock.
- Gently slide or unclip the cover to open the compartment.
- Insert one (1) AA 1.5 Volt carbon battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover, ensuring it is securely closed.
Important: Use carbon batteries for optimal performance and to prolong the clock's lifespan. Alkaline batteries may cause issues with low-current devices like this alarm clock.
2. Setting the Time
- Locate the "Time Setting" knob on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 2).
- Rotate this knob clockwise or counter-clockwise until the hour and minute hands display the correct current time.

Operating Instructions
1. Setting the Alarm
- Locate the "Alarm Setting" knob on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 2).
- Rotate this knob to move the alarm hand to your desired wake-up time.
- To activate the alarm, slide the "Alarm ON/OFF" switch (also on the back, see Figure 2) to the "ON" position.
- When the alarm sounds, slide the "Alarm ON/OFF" switch to the "OFF" position to silence it.
The alarm features a progressive sound that increases in volume to ensure effective waking.
2. Using the Night Light
To activate the warm night light, simply press the "Night Light" button located on the top-right of the back of the clock (refer to Figure 2). The light will illuminate the clock face, allowing for easy time reading in the dark. Release the button to turn off the light.

Maintenance
1. Battery Replacement
When the clock's movement slows down, the alarm weakens, or the night light dims, it is time to replace the battery. Follow the "Battery Installation" steps in the Setup section to replace the AA 1.5 Volt carbon battery.
Caution: Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
2. Cleaning
To clean the alarm clock, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the clock in water, as this can damage the internal components.
