1. Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your NETUM NT-1200 Industrial Bluetooth Barcode Scanner. Please read this manual carefully before using the device to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

2. Setup
2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed in the packing list are present and undamaged. The package should include the barcode scanner, charging dock, and a USB cable.
2.2 Charging the Scanner
The NETUM NT-1200 is equipped with a 2600mAh battery. For first-time use, fully charge the scanner. Place the scanner onto the charging dock. The indicator light on the scanner will show charging status. A full charge typically takes 4-5 hours and provides up to 30 working days based on 2000 scans per day, or 100 days of standby time.

2.3 Connectivity
The NT-1200 supports both 2.4G Wireless and Bluetooth transmission modes, offering wide compatibility with various devices including laptops, PCs, smartphones, tablets, iPhones, iPads, and POS systems.
2.3.1 2.4G Wireless Connection
The charging cradle has a built-in 2.4G receiver, making the scanner plug-and-play. Simply connect the charging dock to your computer's USB port using the provided cable. The scanner will automatically connect to the receiver.
2.3.2 Bluetooth Connection
To connect via Bluetooth, ensure the scanner is in Bluetooth mode (refer to the included quick start guide for specific barcode scans to switch modes). Then, search for the scanner on your device's Bluetooth settings and pair. The scanner supports HID, SPP, and BLE modes.

3. Operating the Scanner
3.1 Scanning Modes
The NT-1200 offers three primary scanning modes:
- Manual Trigger Mode: Press the trigger button to scan each barcode.
- Continuous Scanning Mode: The scanner continuously emits a scan line, ideal for high-volume scanning without pressing the trigger.
- Auto-Sensing Scanning Mode: The scanner automatically detects a barcode placed in its scanning field and activates the scan. This mode is hands-free when used with the charging dock as a stand.
To switch between modes, scan the corresponding setting barcodes provided in the manual that came with your device.

3.2 Storage Mode
The scanner features a storage mode that allows it to save up to 100,000 barcodes when out of range of Bluetooth or wireless connectivity. Once reconnected, the stored data can be uploaded to your device. Activate storage mode by scanning the appropriate barcode from the manual.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Durability and Protection
The NETUM NT-1200 is designed for industrial environments, featuring IP67 dust-proof, splash-proof, and waterproof performance. Its rugged design and durable silicone plastic material provide excellent shock and drop protection, capable of withstanding accidental drops from up to 12 ft (3.65 m). The integrated housing protects against heavy dust, making it suitable for harsh working conditions.

4.2 Cleaning
To clean the scanner, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the device. Ensure the scanner is powered off and disconnected from the charging dock before cleaning.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Scanner Not Responding
- Ensure the scanner is fully charged.
- Verify the connection: For 2.4G wireless, ensure the charging dock is properly connected to your device. For Bluetooth, check that the scanner is paired and within range.
- Try scanning the 'Factory Reset' barcode from your manual to restore default settings.
5.2 Connectivity Issues (Bluetooth/Wireless)
- If the scanner is not detectable via Bluetooth, ensure it is in the correct Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Confirm that your device's Bluetooth is enabled and functioning correctly.
- For 2.4G wireless, ensure the USB receiver in the dock is recognized by your computer.
- Move closer to the connected device to ensure you are within the transmission range (up to 20m/65ft in barrier-free environments, 10m/32ft with obstacles).
5.3 Inaccurate or No Scans
- Ensure the barcode is clean and not damaged.
- Check that the scanner's lens is clean and free from obstructions.
- Verify that the barcode type is supported by the scanner (refer to Section 3.3).
- Adjust the distance between the scanner and the barcode.
