4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your water dispenser for first use:

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the appliance. Retain packaging for potential future transport or service.
  2. Placement: Place the dispenser on a stable, level, and dry countertop surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the water tank and drip tray with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Install RO Filter: Open the filter compartment cover on top of the unit. Insert the RO filter cartridge as per the markings, ensuring it is securely seated. Close the cover.
  5. Fill Water Tank: Remove the water tank from the side of the unit. Fill it with potable tap water up to the maximum fill line. Reattach the tank securely.
  6. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.

5. Operating Instructions

Operating your Philips RO Water Dispenser is straightforward:

  1. Power On: After plugging in, the dispenser will automatically power on and perform an initial system check.
  2. Select Temperature: Use the temperature selection buttons on the control panel to choose your desired water temperature. Available options typically include: 95°C, 85°C, 45°C, and Ambient. A 'Customize' option may also be available for specific temperature settings.
  3. Select Volume: Use the volume selection buttons to choose the desired dispense volume. Common options are: 500ml, 300ml, 210ml, and 150ml.
  4. Activate Safety Lock: For hot water dispensing, the safety lock feature must be disengaged. Press and hold the 'Safety Lock' button (indicated by a lock icon) until it unlocks. This prevents accidental hot water dispensing.

6. Maintenance
