2.2 Installation

  1. Prepare the Windshield: Clean the area on your windshield where the dash cam will be mounted. Apply a static cling sticker to the desired location to protect your windshield and allow for easier removal.
  2. Mount the Front Camera: Attach the front camera to the car mount. Secure the mount to the static cling sticker on your windshield using the adhesive. Ensure the camera has a clear view of the road and is not obstructing your driving view.
  3. Install Rear Camera: Mount the rear camera on your rear window, ensuring a clear view. Connect the rear camera cable to the main unit. Route the cable neatly along the vehicle's headliner and A-pillars using the provided trim removal tool to tuck it away.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. Connect the charging cable to the main dash cam unit. For optimal performance and to enable parking surveillance modes, a separate hardwire kit (ASIN: B0C2PTBNHH) is recommended.
  5. Insert MicroSD Card: Insert a high-speed microSD card (Class 10 or higher, up to 1TB supported) into the designated slot on the dash cam.

2.3 Initial Setup & MicroSD Card Formatting

Upon first use or when using a new microSD card, it is essential to format the card within the dash cam. This ensures compatibility and optimal performance.

3.1 Power On/Off and Recording

4. Maintenance

4.1 MicroSD Card Maintenance
