5. Operating Instructions

The Sanotechnik Balaton 2 shower cabin is designed for straightforward operation.

  • Water Flow and Temperature: Use the single-lever mixer to control both water flow and temperature. Move the lever left for hot water, right for cold water, and up/down for flow intensity.
  • Hand Shower: The hand shower is adjustable in height on its rail. To adjust, press the button on the shower holder and slide it to the desired position.
  • Sliding Doors: Gently slide the corner doors open or closed. The double-guided rollers ensure smooth and quiet movement.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life and appearance of your shower cabin.

  • Glass Panels: Clean glass panels regularly with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive glass cleaner. For stubborn water spots, a vinegar-water solution can be effective.
  • Profiles and Fittings: Wipe aluminum profiles and chrome fittings with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive sponges that can damage the finish.
  • Shower Tray: Clean the acrylic shower tray with mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or wire brushes.
  • Rollers: Periodically check the sliding door rollers for smooth operation. Clean any accumulated dirt or soap residue. The foldable rollers allow for easier cleaning.
  • Seals: Inspect seals regularly for wear and tear. Replace damaged seals to prevent leaks.
