1. Introduction

2. What's in the Box

3. Setup

3.1 Physical Setup

  1. Charge the Device: Connect the provided USB-C cable to the Spark GO's USB-C port and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The battery indicator lights will show charging progress.
  2. Connect Your Instrument: Insert your guitar's 1/4-inch cable into the input jack on the Spark GO.
  3. Connect Headphones (Optional): For private practice, plug your headphones into the 1/8-inch headphone jack.
  4. Power On: Press and hold the power button on the side of the Spark GO until the indicator lights illuminate.

3.2 App Installation & Connection

  1. Download the Spark App: Search for "Spark App" on your mobile device's app store (iOS App Store or Google Play Store) and install it.
  2. Enable Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
  3. Pair with Spark GO: Open the Spark App. The app will guide you through the pairing process. Select "Spark GO" from the list of available Bluetooth devices.

4. Operating Your Spark GO

4.1 Basic Controls

  • Input Volume Knob: The large gold knob controls the input volume of your instrument.
  • Headphone Volume Knob: A smaller gold knob adjusts the volume for connected headphones.
  • Preset Button: Cycle through the four onboard presets by pressing this button. The corresponding LED will light up (1, 2, 3, or 4).
  • Music Volume Buttons: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the volume of Bluetooth audio streaming.

The Spark GO comes pre-loaded with four versatile presets, accessible directly from the device. For deeper customization and access to advanced features, utilize the Spark App:

  • ToneCloud: Explore and download over 50,000 tones created by a global community of musicians.
  • Amps & Effects: Access a vast library of 33 amplifier models and 43 effects to craft your unique sound.
  • Smart Jam: This AI-powered feature listens to your playing and generates a bass and drum track that jams along with you in real-time.
  • Auto Chords: Play any song from your music library, and the app will automatically analyze and display the chords for you.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To clean your Spark GO, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes, as these can damage the finish. Ensure no liquids enter the device's openings.

5.2 Battery Care

The Spark GO is equipped with a USB-C rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery, offering up to 8 hours of playtime. To prolong battery life:

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Store the device with a partial charge if not used for extended periods.
  • Charge the battery using only the provided USB-C cable and a compatible power adapter.
