2. Safety Information

4. Assembly Instructions

Assembly is straightforward and typically requires two adults. All necessary tools are included. Follow the numbered steps carefully.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Identify each part using the provided labels.
  2. Attach Crossbar to Legs: Connect the crossbar to the two leg frames using the designated bolts and nuts. Ensure the H-frame construction is stable. Do not fully tighten bolts yet.
  3. Install Adjustable Mechanisms: Secure the adjustable angle mechanisms to the upper part of the leg frames. These mechanisms will support the tabletop and allow for angle adjustments.
  4. Mount Tabletop: Carefully place the tabletop onto the assembled leg frame and attach it to the adjustable mechanisms using the provided screws. Ensure the tabletop is centered and aligned.
  5. Final Tightening: Once all parts are assembled, carefully tighten all bolts and screws. Do not overtighten.
  6. Stability Check: Gently shake the table to ensure it is stable and all connections are secure.

5. Operating Instructions

Adjusting the Tabletop Angle

The VISWIN Wood Drafting Table features an adjustable angle mechanism, allowing you to tilt the tabletop from 0° (flat) to 70° to suit your working preference and reduce strain.

  1. Loosen Adjustment Knobs: On both sides of the table, locate the adjustment knobs on the metal arcs. Turn these knobs counter-clockwise to loosen them.
  2. Set Desired Angle: Gently lift or lower the tabletop to your preferred angle. The metal arcs have 7 holes, allowing for precise angle adjustments.
  3. Secure Tabletop: Once the desired angle is achieved, align the tabletop support pins with the corresponding holes on both metal arcs. Tighten the adjustment knobs by turning them clockwise until the tabletop is firmly secured and does not wobble.
