1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Juskys 24L Electric Travel Cooler. This versatile thermoelectric device is designed to keep your food and beverages cool or warm, making it ideal for travel, camping, picnics, and home use. It operates on both 12V DC (for vehicles) and 230V AC (for standard outlets). Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure safe and optimal performance.

2. Safety Instructions

Important: Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

  • Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
  • Do not immerse the cooler, power cords, or plugs in water or other liquids.
  • Keep the appliance away from heat sources, direct sunlight, and flammable materials.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the cooler, especially the fan area, to prevent overheating.
  • Do not block the ventilation openings.
  • Use only the provided power cables.
  • Unplug the cooler from the power source when not in use or before cleaning.
  • Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug.

4. Setup and Initial Use

Before first use, ensure the cooler is clean and dry. Place the cooler on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation around all sides, especially the fan area.

4.1 Connecting to Power

The cooler features two power connection options:

  • 12V DC (Vehicle Use): Connect the 12V DC power cable to the cooler's 12V input port and then into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. This is suitable for cars, trucks, and campers.
  • 230V AC (Home Use): Connect the 230V AC power cable to the cooler's 230V input port and then into a standard wall outlet. This is ideal for pre-cooling at home or for use in hotels/campsites with AC power.

Note: Do not connect both power cables simultaneously. Ensure the correct cable is used for the respective power source.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Cooling Function

To cool items, ensure the cooler is connected to a power source. Set the switch on the control panel to the "COOL" position. The cooler will begin to cool its interior to approximately 18-20°C below the ambient temperature. For best results, pre-chill items before placing them in the cooler.

5.2 Heating Function

To warm items, ensure the cooler is connected to a power source. Set the switch on the control panel to the "HEAT" position. The cooler will warm its interior up to approximately 65°C. This function is suitable for keeping pre-heated food warm.

5.3 ECO Mode (230V AC Only)

When operating on 230V AC power, you can activate the ECO mode for energy-efficient and quieter operation. This mode is ideal for extended use where maximum cooling/heating speed is not critical. The noise level in ECO mode is approximately 48 dB.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your Juskys Electric Travel Cooler.

  • Cleaning: Disconnect the cooler from all power sources before cleaning. Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the cooler is completely dry before reconnecting to power.
  • Ventilation: Periodically check the fan and ventilation openings for dust or debris. Clean them gently with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to ensure proper airflow.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, clean the cooler thoroughly, leave the lid slightly ajar to prevent odors, and store it in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your cooler, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
