1. Product Overview

The ORICO CD2510 is a compact and efficient Network Attached Storage (NAS) device designed for personal and family cloud storage. It supports 2.5-inch SATA hard drives or SSDs, providing a secure and accessible solution for storing and managing your digital content. 2. Setup Guide

2.1 Package Contents

• 1 x ORICO MetaCube Mini CD2510 NAS unit
• 1 x DC Power Adapter
• 1 x USB-A to Type-C Cable
• 1 x Network Cable
• 1 x User Manual

2.2 Hardware Installation

1. Install the Hard Drive: The ORICO CD2510 features a magnetic cover for tool-free installation. Gently remove the magnetic cover to access the 2.5-inch SATA HDD/SSD bay. Insert your 2.5-inch SATA hard drive or SSD into the bay, ensuring it is securely seated. Replace the magnetic cover.
2. Connect Power: Connect the provided DC power adapter to the 'DC IN 12V' port on the NAS unit and plug it into a power outlet.
3. Connect to Network: Connect one end of the provided network cable to the 'LAN' port on the NAS unit and the other end to your router or network switch.
4. Power On: Press the power switch. The blue LED indicator will illuminate, indicating the device is powered on.

2.3 Software Setup (Weline App)

1. Download the App: Download the 'Weline' application from your mobile device's app store (iOS/Android) or access it on your PC.
2. Initial Connection: Follow the on-screen instructions within the Weline app to connect to your ORICO CD2510 NAS. The app simplifies the setup process without requiring complex configurations.
3. Language Synchronization: The app's language will synchronize with your system's language. To use a different language, change your device's system language settings.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Family Cloud Storage and Access

The Weline app allows mobile devices and PCs to store and play back images, videos, and documents directly from your ORICO CD2510 NAS. This creates a personal cloud for your family, enabling automatic backup of music, documents, videos, and photos.

3.2 Secure Remote Access (SDVN Encrypted Channel)

The Weline app utilizes SDVN technology to establish an encrypted tunnel between your devices and the ORICO home cloud. This allows for secure remote access via VPN, ensuring your data is protected from leaks as encryption keys are stored directly on the NAS. Data is transferred directly between your device and the NAS, bypassing third-party servers.

3.3 Private Cloud Features

• Permanent Local Private Cloud: Unlike public cloud storage services, Weline does not charge subscription fees. Your data is stored locally on your hard drive, not on a public cloud server, ensuring privacy and control.
• Multi-User Support: The main account can authorize multiple users, allowing for shared public clouds and private spaces within the system.
• Privacy Protection: Protect your private photo albums and videos, recording life anytime and anywhere without restrictions.

3.4 Data Transfer Speeds

• Intranet Speed: Up to 60-80 MB/s.
• Transregional Speed: Typically 1-2 MB/s. Accelerated traffic can be purchased within the app for faster transregional transfers if needed.

3.5 Wide Compatibility and Sharing

The ORICO CD2510 supports global connections across multiple devices and operating systems, including Android, Windows, Mac OS, tablets, and TVs. You can share content with family, record baby growth, or manage a working file library anytime, anywhere.

3.6 Duplex Mode (Mobile Hard Drive Enclosure)

In addition to its NAS functionality, the ORICO CD2510 can also be used as a mobile hard drive enclosure. This provides dual protection for your data, whether connected via wired network or used as a direct storage device.

4.1 Software Updates

The Weline software is iteratively optimized, and engineers provide monthly system updates. Ensure your app is updated regularly to benefit from the latest features and improvements.

4.2 General Care

Keep the device clean and free from dust. The magnetic cover ensures easy access for drive maintenance while protecting the internal components.

5.1 Common Issues

• App Language Mismatch: If the app language is not as expected, check your device's system language settings. The app synchronizes with the system language.
• Slow Transregional Transfer: Transregional speeds are typically 1-2 MB/s. For faster transfers, consider purchasing accelerated traffic within the Weline app.
• Connectivity Issues: Ensure the DC power adapter and network cable are securely connected. Verify that the blue LED indicator is illuminated.
