- Waterproof Case: After use in water, rinse the case with fresh water and allow it to air dry. Ensure the rubber seal is clean and free of sand or debris.
6.2 Battery Care
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Avoid fully discharging batteries frequently to prolong their lifespan.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Vivitar DVR923 camera, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Solution |
|---|---|
| Camera does not power on. | Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted. Try using the second included battery. |
| Video quality is not 4K. | Verify that 4K resolution is selected in the camera settings. Note that actual 4K performance can vary, and some users report optimal quality at 1080p. |
| Short battery life. | Ensure batteries are fully charged before use. High-resolution recording and WiFi usage consume more power. Carry both included batteries for extended use. |
| Cannot connect to WiFi. | Ensure WiFi is enabled on the camera and your smartphone/tablet. Restart both devices. Check the Vivitar Action Cam app for connection instructions. |
| Camera freezes or becomes unresponsive. | Remove and reinsert the battery to perform a hard reset. If the issue persists, try formatting the SD card (this will erase all data). |
| SD card error. | Ensure the SD card is properly inserted. Try formatting the card via the camera's settings. If the problem continues, try a different, high-quality Micro SD card. |
If these solutions do not resolve your issue, please contact Vivitar customer support for further assistance.
