5. Setup

5.1 Power Supply

The WOPET FT70 Plus supports dual power options: DC adapter and 3 D-cell batteries (not included) for backup. It is recommended to use both for uninterrupted operation, especially during power outages.

  • DC Power: Connect the power adapter to the feeder's DC input port and plug it into a wall outlet.
  • Battery Backup: Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder and insert 3 D-cell batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

5.2 Assembly

  1. Place the food bowl securely under the dispenser outlet.

  1. Open the lid of the food hopper.
  2. Pour dry pet food into the hopper. The feeder has a 5-liter capacity, suitable for most pets for several days.

6. Operating Instructions

The FT70 Plus allows for customized feeding schedules with up to 6 meals per day and 1-8 portions per meal. The touch screen interface is designed for ease of use and includes an auto-lock feature to prevent accidental changes.

6.1 Setting the Current Time

  1. Press and hold the 'Set' button (gear icon) until the clock display flashes.
  2. Use the 'Up' and 'Down' arrows to adjust the hour. Press 'Set' to confirm.
  3. Repeat for minutes. Press 'Set' to save the current time.

6.2 Programming Feeding Schedule

You can program up to 6 meals per day. Each meal can have 1 to 8 portions.

  1. Press the 'Meal' button (food bowl icon) to enter meal programming mode. The meal number (e.g., '1') will flash.
  2. Use 'Up'/'Down' arrows to select the meal number you wish to program (1-6). Press 'Meal' to confirm.
  3. Set the feeding time for the selected meal using 'Up'/'Down' arrows for hours and minutes. Press 'Meal' to confirm each.
  4. Set the number of portions (1-8) for this meal using 'Up'/'Down' arrows. Press 'Meal' to confirm.
  5. Repeat steps 2-4 for additional meals.
  6. To exit programming, press and hold the 'Set' button.

6.3 Voice Recording

Record a 10-second voice message to call your pet to meals.

  1. Press and hold the 'Record' button (microphone icon) until you hear a beep.
  2. Speak your message into the microphone.
  3. Release the 'Record' button when finished. The message will play during scheduled meal times.

6.4 Manual Feeding

To dispense food immediately, press the 'Manual Feed' button (paw print icon). One portion will be dispensed each time the button is pressed.
