1. Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective use of your TUXING 4500PSI PCP Paintball Fill Station. This high-pressure fill station is designed for charging HPA and CO2 tanks, including SCBA, SCUBA, and PCP air cylinders, with a working pressure range of 3000-4500psi (20-30Mpa / 200-300Bar). Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure proper setup, safe handling, and optimal performance.
2. Safety Information
WARNING: Operating high-pressure equipment can be dangerous if not handled correctly. Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in serious injury or property damage.
- Always wear appropriate eye protection when operating or maintaining the fill station.
- Never exceed the maximum rated pressure of the fill station (4500PSI / 300Bar) or the tank being filled.
- Ensure all connections are clean, secure, and free from damage before pressurizing the system.
- Always bleed pressure slowly and completely before disconnecting any components.
- Keep the fill station away from heat sources, open flames, and direct sunlight.
- Do not modify the fill station or its components. Use only genuine TUXING replacement parts.
- Operate in a well-ventilated area.
- Keep children and unauthorized personnel away from the equipment during operation.
3. Product Components
The TUXING PCP Paintball Fill Station consists of several key components designed for efficient and safe operation. Familiarize yourself with each part before use.

Figure 1: Labeled diagram of the TUXING PCP Paintball Fill Station, showing the 6000psi gauge, M18*1.5 connection, release valve, on/off valve, 8mm female quick plug, and 7.5K burst disk.
- DIN Valve Connector (M18x1.5-6H): This is the male thread connection point for your high-pressure air cylinder or tank.
- Pressure Gauge: Displays the current pressure in the system, typically up to 6000psi. Always monitor this gauge during filling.
- On/Off Valve (Red Knob): Controls the flow of air from the source tank to the receiving tank. Turn clockwise to open, counter-clockwise to close.
- Release Valve: Used to slowly bleed off residual pressure from the system after filling and before disconnecting.
- High Pressure Hose: A 57mm length stainless steel spring protector hose connecting the fill station to the quick disconnect fitting.
- 8mm Female Foster Quick Disconnect: Provides a quick and secure connection point for the receiving tank's male quick disconnect fitting.
- Burst Disk (7.5K): A safety feature designed to rupture and release pressure if the system exceeds a safe limit, preventing catastrophic failure.
4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to properly set up your TUXING PCP Paintball Fill Station.
- Inspect Components: Before each use, visually inspect all components for any signs of damage, wear, or debris. Ensure O-rings are in good condition.
- Connect to Source Tank: Screw the DIN valve male thread (M18x1.5) of the fill station securely onto the valve of your high-pressure air cylinder (SCBA, SCUBA, or large HPA tank). Hand-tighten firmly. Do not use tools to overtighten, as this can damage the threads or O-rings.
- Prepare Receiving Tank: Ensure the tank you intend to fill (e.g., PCP air rifle tank, paintball HPA tank) has an 8mm male quick disconnect fitting.
- Connect Receiving Tank: Push the 8mm male quick disconnect fitting of the receiving tank firmly into the 8mm female foster quick disconnect on the fill station hose until it clicks into place. Pull gently to confirm a secure connection.

5. Operating Instructions
Once the fill station is properly set up, follow these steps to safely fill your tank.
- Close Valves: Ensure both the on/off valve (red knob) on the fill station and the release valve are fully closed (turned counter-clockwise).
- Open Source Tank Valve: Slowly open the valve on your large source tank. The pressure gauge on the fill station will now display the pressure of the source tank.
- Begin Filling: Slowly turn the on/off valve (red knob) on the fill station clockwise to begin transferring air to the receiving tank. Fill slowly to avoid overheating and to allow the pressure to equalize gradually.
- Monitor Pressure: Continuously monitor the pressure gauge. Stop filling when the desired pressure in the receiving tank is reached, or when the maximum safe working pressure of the receiving tank is achieved. Never overfill a tank.
- Close On/Off Valve: Once the desired pressure is reached, fully close the on/off valve (red knob) on the fill station.
- Close Source Tank Valve: Close the valve on your large source tank.
- Bleed Pressure: Slowly open the release valve on the fill station to bleed off the residual pressure in the hose and fill station. You will hear air escaping. Wait until the pressure gauge reads zero.
- Disconnect Tank: Once all pressure is bled, you can safely disconnect the receiving tank by pulling back the collar on the female quick disconnect fitting.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TUXING PCP Paintball Fill Station.
- Cleanliness: Keep all connections and components clean and free from dirt, dust, and moisture.
- O-Ring Inspection: Periodically inspect all O-rings for cracks, cuts, or flattening. Replace damaged O-rings immediately. Apply a thin layer of silicone grease (specifically designed for high-pressure air systems) to O-rings to maintain their seal and prevent wear.
- Thread Inspection: Check threads on the DIN connector for any damage or cross-threading.
- Storage: Store the fill station in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and corrosive materials. Ensure all valves are closed and pressure is bled before storage.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your fill station.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Air leak at connections | Loose connection, damaged O-ring, debris in threads. | Ensure connections are hand-tight. Inspect and replace O-rings if damaged. Clean threads. |
| Gauge not reading pressure | Source tank valve closed, fill station on/off valve closed, faulty gauge. | Open source tank valve. Open fill station on/off valve. If still no reading, contact support for gauge replacement. |
| Slow filling rate | On/off valve not fully open, restriction in hose, low source tank pressure. | Ensure on/off valve is fully open. Check hose for kinks. Verify source tank has sufficient pressure. |
| Quick disconnect not engaging/disengaging | Debris in coupler, worn mechanism, pressure not fully bled. | Clean coupler. Ensure pressure is completely bled before attempting to disconnect. Lubricate with silicone grease if stiff. |
