4. Setup and Installation

5. Operating Instructions
The Dotti-IR Designer switch offers two primary functions: Door Switch Mode and Hand Gesture Mode. The default mode is typically Door Switch Mode.
5.1 Changing Operating Mode
To switch between the two functions, press and hold the micro switch located on the back of the unit for 3 seconds. The light will briefly indicate the mode change.
5.2 Function 1: Door Switch Mode
In this mode, the light will turn on when the door is open and turn off when the door is closed. The sensor detects the presence or absence of the door.

5.3 Function 2: Hand Gesture Mode (On/Off and Dimming)
In this mode, the light can be controlled by hand movements in front of the sensor.
- Turn On/Off: A quick wave of the hand in front of the sensor will toggle the light on or off.
- Dimming: To adjust brightness, hold your hand steadily in front of the sensor. The light will gradually dim or brighten. Remove your hand when the desired brightness level is reached.

6. Maintenance
The Dotti-IR Designer switch requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the sensor surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
