1. Product Overview

The WASSERMANN 61201 is a 1/2 HP submersible utility water pump designed for efficient transfer of clean or dirty water. 2. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to properly set up your WASSERMANN 61201 submersible utility pump:

  1. Attach Discharge Hose: Select the appropriate adapter (NPT1-1/2", NPT2", or NPT3/4") for your hose size and securely attach it to the pump's 1-1/2" discharge outlet. Use the provided stainless steel hose clamp to ensure a tight seal.

  3. Submerge the Pump: Carefully submerge the pump into the water at an angle. This allows any trapped air to escape from the pump housing, ensuring proper priming and operation.

  5. Connect to Power: Once the pump is fully submerged and air has escaped, plug the 10-foot power cord into a standard 120V electrical outlet. The pump will begin operating immediately.

3. Operating Instructions

4. Maintenance

  1. Remove Intake Screen: Disconnect the pump from power. Use a screwdriver to carefully remove the screws securing the intake screen at the bottom of the pump.
