Setup (Installation)
Follow these steps for proper installation of your basin mixer:
- Prepare the Basin: Ensure the basin or countertop has the correct mounting hole for the mixer. Clean the area thoroughly.
- Install Mixer: Insert the mixer's threaded rod through the mounting hole from above. Ensure any rubber or metal washers are correctly positioned between the mixer base and the basin surface to create a watertight seal.
- Secure Mixer: From underneath the basin, slide the metal washer and then the fixing nut onto the threaded rod. Tighten the nut securely using an appropriate wrench until the mixer is stable and does not wobble. Do not overtighten.
- Connect Water Hoses: Attach the flexible connection hoses (3/8") to the corresponding hot and cold water inlets on the mixer. Ensure a tight seal.
- Connect to Water Supply: Connect the other ends of the flexible hoses to your hot and cold water supply lines. Use thread seal tape or sealant if recommended by local plumbing codes.
- Install Handle Pins: Insert the chosen handle pin (32 mm or 61 mm) into the mixer handle.
- Test for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply. Check all connections for any signs of leaks. If leaks are detected, turn off the water supply and tighten the connections as needed.

Operating Instructions
The Gessi 316 Cesello mixer features a single lever for controlling both water flow and temperature.
- Water Flow Control: To turn on the water, lift the lever upwards. The further you lift the lever, the greater the water flow. To reduce flow or turn off the water, lower the lever.
- Temperature Control: To adjust the water temperature, move the lever horizontally. Moving the lever to the left will increase the hot water proportion, while moving it to the right will increase the cold water proportion.
