- If you encounter an "SD Card Error", please reset the dash cam or reinsert the SD card.
6.2 Cleaning
- Gently wipe the lens and screen with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the device.
7. Troubleshooting
- Dash cam not powering on: Ensure the car charger is securely plugged into both the dash cam and the vehicle's 12V outlet. The dash cam's built-in battery is designed to maintain date, time, and settings, not for daily use. Always use the original car charger.
- "SD Card Error" message: Reset the dash cam or reinsert the SD card. If the issue persists, try formatting the card or using a new, compatible SD card.
- Wi-Fi connection issues: Ensure the dash cam's Wi-Fi is enabled. Check your phone's Wi-Fi settings to confirm connection to the dash cam's network. Verify the password.
- Poor video quality: Ensure the lens is clean and free from obstructions. Check the video resolution settings in the app or on the device.
- Dash cam falling off windshield: Ensure the windshield surface is clean and dry before attaching the suction mount. Re-tighten the suction cup's locking mechanism.
