- Removable Drip Tray: The drip tray for the single-serve side is removable for easy cleaning. Wash with warm, soapy water.
- Charcoal Water Filters: Both brewing sides utilize charcoal water filters. These should be replaced regularly according to the manufacturer's recommendations to ensure optimal water quality and coffee taste.
- General Cleaning: All removable parts are not dishwasher safe and should be hand-washed. The exterior can be wiped with a damp cloth. Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.
Troubleshooting
- Weak Coffee/Inadequate Brew: If the coffee is weak or the brew is inadequate, check the grind size and the amount of coffee used. Too coarse a grind, too little coffee, or insufficient tamping (if using a reusable filter) can affect the brew. Reprogramming may be necessary after adjusting grind size or amount.
- Splashing from Single-Serve: To minimize splashing when using the single-serve side with shorter cups, utilize the adjustable drip tray to raise the cup closer to the dispenser.
- Coffee Grounds in Cup (Single-Serve): Ensure the single-serve pod or reusable filter cup is correctly seated and the lid is fully closed. Check for any damage to the pod or filter.
- Water Leaks: Verify that the water reservoirs are properly seated and not overfilled. Inspect seals for any visible damage.
