Setup

1. Charging the Headphones

Before first use, fully charge the headphones. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the headphone's charging port and to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter). The LED indicator will show charging status and turn off or change color when fully charged.

A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours. For quick use, a 5-minute charge provides up to 9 hours of playtime.

2. Powering On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator lights up.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 5 seconds until the LED indicator turns off.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the headphones are powered off.
2. Press and hold the Power button for approximately 5-7 seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue and red alternately, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for "UGREEN HiTune Max 5" in the list of available devices.
4. Select "UGREEN HiTune Max 5" to connect. Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue or flash blue slowly.
5. If prompted for a password, enter "0000".

The headphones will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.

4. Wired Connection

To use the headphones with a wired connection, plug one end of the 3.5mm audio cable into the headphone's audio jack and the other end into your audio source. The headphones can be used passively in wired mode even if the battery is depleted, though ANC and other electronic features will not function.
