5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device
Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the device and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The power indicator lights will show the charging status. A full charge allows for over 200 spot welds.
5.2 Preparing Materials
- Ensure the nickel sheet or material to be welded is clean, smooth, and free of oxidation or debris.
- For battery welding, ensure the battery surface is also clean and flat.
- Practice on the included nickel sheet and frosted paper to find the optimal gear setting and technique before working on your main project.
6. Operating Instructions
The AWithZ H1 offers both automatic and manual welding modes.
6.1 Power On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the ON/OFF Key (side button) for 2 seconds. The indicators will light up.
- To power off, press and hold the ON/OFF Key for 2 seconds again.
6.2 Switching Modes (Automatic/Manual)
- After powering on, press and hold the Mode Switching Key (top button) for more than 2 seconds. The indicator light will switch between Manual and Auto modes.

6.3 Adjusting Gear Settings
- In either mode, short press the Gear Switching Key (top button) to cycle through the 11 adjustable power gears. The Gear Indicator lights will show the current setting.
- Recommended Gear Settings:
- 1-3 Gear: Mobile phone batteries
- 3-6 Gear: 0.1mm nickel plate
- 6-11 Gear: 0.12-0.15mm nickel plate

6.4 Welding Process
- Place the nickel sheet onto the battery or material to be welded. Ensure good contact.
- Position the two welding tips firmly and simultaneously onto the nickel sheet. The recommended welding angle is 60 degrees for easier welding.
- Automatic Mode: The device will automatically detect contact and initiate the weld after a short delay.
- Manual Mode: Press the ON/OFF Key (side button) to trigger a weld once the tips are in position.
- After welding, lift the device straight up to avoid damaging the weld.
