3. Setup

3.1 Charging Base Placement

Place the Charging Base against a wall on a hard, level surface. Ensure there is at least 1.6 ft (0.5 m) of clear space on both sides and 4.9 ft (1.5 m) in front of the base to allow the RoboVac to easily access it. Remove any protective film from the charging base and its bottom to improve stability.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Active Detangling Roller Brush

The patented Active Detangling Roller Brush automatically detangles hair during cleaning, reducing the need for manual intervention. Regularly check the roller brush for any remaining hair or debris and clean as needed using the provided cleaning tool.

5.2 Dustbin and Filter

The dustbin should be emptied regularly, especially after cleaning areas with significant debris or pet hair. The filter is washable; rinse it with water and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting. Replace filters periodically for optimal performance.

5.3 Mopping Module

If using the mopping module, ensure it is properly installed and filled with water. Do not use the mopping module on carpets. It is recommended to set up 'no-mop zones' in the app for carpeted areas. The mopping pad should be cleaned after each use.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Robot gets stuck frequently: Ensure the cleaning area is free of small toys, wires, or other items that could entangle the robot. Check the roller brush for obstructions.
  • Self-cleaning roller brush not effective: Manually clean the roller brush if pet hair accumulation is severe.
  • Mopping feature not optimal: For best results, vacuum the area first before mopping. Avoid using the mop on carpets or thresholds higher than 0.7 inches (1.9 cm).
  • Battery life issues: Ensure the robot is fully charged before each cleaning cycle. Check for any firmware updates that might improve battery management.
