Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your Govee Gaming Light for Monitor G1:
- Prepare the Monitor Surface: Clean the back of your monitor thoroughly with the provided alcohol pad to ensure optimal adhesion for the light strip.
- Attach the Light Strip: Carefully attach the LED light strip to the back of your monitor, ensuring it covers all four sides. The strip is designed to fit 27-34 inch monitors, including curved screens. Use the included clips to secure corners if necessary.
- Connect the Control Box and Power Adapter: Connect the LED strip to the control box, then connect the power adapter to the control box and plug it into a power outlet.
- Pair with Govee Home App: Download the Govee Home App on your smartphone. Open the app, register or log in, and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your device. Ensure the LAN Control switch is enabled in the app settings for desktop software integration.
- Install Govee Desktop Software: Download and install the Govee Desktop software on your PC. Log in to the software using your Govee account.
- Enable Screen Color-Matching: Within the Govee Desktop software, add your device to the DreamView group and activate the screen color-matching function. The light strip will begin synchronizing with your monitor's display.
