2. Place the Clean Base: Choose a location for the Clean Base that is against a wall, on a level surface, and free from obstructions. Ensure there is adequate space around the base for the robot to dock and maneuver.
3. Connect Power: Plug the Clean Base power cord into a wall outlet.
4. Charge the Robot: Place the Roomba Combo i5+ robot onto the charging contacts of the Clean Base. Ensure the robot is properly aligned. The light ring on the robot will indicate charging status. Allow the robot to fully charge before its first use.
5. Download the iRobot Home App: Download the iRobot Home app from your device's app store. This app is essential for setup, smart mapping, scheduling, and controlling your robot.
6. Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot to your home's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Both your phone and the robot must be on the 2.4 GHz network during setup.

Starting a Cleaning Job

• Using the iRobot Home App: Open the app and select "Clean" to start a full cleaning job. You can also select specific rooms or zones from your Imprint Smart Map.
• Using the CLEAN Button: Press the CLEAN button on the robot to start a general cleaning job. Press it again to pause, and once more to resume. Hold the button for a few seconds to end the job and send the robot back to its base.

• Vacuum-Only Mode: Use the standard Vacuum Bin for dry debris pickup on all floor types. The robot will automatically empty this bin into the Clean Base.
• Vacuum and Mop Mode: To mop, swap the Vacuum Bin with the Roomba Combo Bin. Fill the Combo Bin with water or a compatible cleaning solution (refer to iRobot website for approved solutions). Attach the microfiber mop pad. The robot will then vacuum and wet mop hard floors simultaneously. Note: Automatic Dirt Disposal is not available when the Mopping Bin is installed.

• Vacuum Bin: Press the bin release button and pull out the bin. Open the bin door and empty debris. Tap the bin against a trash can to dislodge any remaining dirt.
• Filter: Remove the filter from the bin. Tap the filter against a trash can to clean it. Do not wash the filter. Replace the filter every two months or as needed.
• Roomba Combo Bin & Mop Pad: Remove the Combo Bin. Discard any remaining liquid. Remove the mop pad and rinse it thoroughly with water. Allow the pad to air dry completely before reattaching.
• Brushes: Pinch the brush frame release tabs and lift the frame. Remove the brushes and clean any hair or debris wrapped around them or trapped beneath the caps. Reinstall the brushes, ensuring they click into place.
• Edge-Sweeping Brush: Use a coin or small screwdriver to remove the screw holding the brush. Pull the brush off and remove any hair or debris. Reinstall the brush.
• Charging Contacts & Sensors: Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe the charging contacts on both the robot and the Clean Base. Also, wipe the cliff sensors and other optical sensors on the robot's underside.
• Clean Base Dirt Disposal Bag: When the bag is full, lift the lid of the Clean Base. Pull up on the plastic collar of the bag to seal it, then remove and discard. Insert a new bag, ensuring it is fully seated.
