Setup Guide
1. Charging the Camera
Before initial use, fully charge the camera using the provided USB Type-C cable and a compatible power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status.
2. Inserting a Micro SD Card (Optional)
For local video storage, insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the designated slot. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the card.
3. Downloading the App
Search for and download the official companion app for your Pyhodi A3 camera from your smartphone's app store (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Follow the on-screen instructions to create an account.
4. Network Connection
There are two primary methods for connecting your camera to a network:
- Wi-Fi Connection:
- Power on the camera.
- Open the app and follow the prompts to add a new device.
- Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- The app will guide you through pairing the camera, often involving scanning a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera lens.
- AP Hotspot Connection:
The camera features an independent AP hotspot, allowing it to record even when your main Wi-Fi network is unavailable. To connect directly:
- Ensure the camera is powered on.
- On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the camera's AP hotspot (usually named something like "IPC-XXXXXX").
- Open the app; it should automatically detect the camera via the AP connection.
- This mode is primarily for local access and recording when the internet is not available.

Operating Instructions
1. Live View and Recording
Once connected, open the app to access the live video feed from your camera. You can initiate manual recordings, take screenshots, and view stored footage directly from the app.

2. Two-Way Audio
The camera features a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling real-time two-way voice communication. Tap the microphone icon in the app to speak through the camera, and listen to audio from the camera's environment.

3. Motion Detection and Alerts
When the camera detects abnormal movement within its field of view, it will trigger an alarm message and send an immediate push notification to your mobile phone app. You can view the event in real-time via the remote hotspot connection.

4. Infrared Night Vision
The camera features an automatic infrared night vision mode. When activated, the camera can illuminate distances of 5 to 10 meters, providing clear images even in complete darkness.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the device.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid extreme temperatures and fully charge the camera periodically if it's not in continuous use.
- Firmware Updates: Regularly check the app for available firmware updates to ensure your camera has the latest features and security enhancements.
- SD Card Management: If using a Micro SD card, periodically review and back up important footage. Format the SD card through the app if you experience recording issues.
Troubleshooting
- Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The camera does not support 5GHz networks.
- Check that the Wi-Fi password is entered correctly.
- Move the camera closer to your Wi-Fi router to improve signal strength.
- Restart your router and the camera.
- No recording or footage missing:
- Verify that a Micro SD card is properly inserted and formatted.
- Check the recording settings in the app (e.g., continuous recording, motion-triggered recording).
- Ensure the camera has sufficient power.
- Poor image quality:
- Clean the camera lens with a soft cloth.
- Ensure there is adequate lighting in the environment, or that night vision is functioning correctly in dark conditions.
- Check your internet connection speed if streaming quality is poor.
- Two-way audio not working:
- Check the volume settings on your phone and within the camera app.
- Ensure the microphone and speaker on the camera are not obstructed.
- Verify that the app has microphone permissions on your smartphone.
