Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Appliance does not turn on. | Not plugged in correctly; power outlet malfunction; unit is in "OFF" position. | Ensure power cord is securely plugged into both the unit and a working outlet. Turn the control knob to a heat setting. Test the outlet with another appliance. |
| Food is not heating sufficiently. | Incorrect heat setting; too much food/liquid; lid not properly sealed. | Increase heat setting (e.g., to 600W). Reduce the amount of food/liquid. Ensure the lid is securely placed. |
| Unit automatically shuts off during operation. | Over-heating protection activated; boil dry protection activated. | This is a safety feature. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool down. Check for sufficient liquid in the pot before restarting. |
| Food sticks to the bottom of the pot. | Insufficient liquid; food not stirred frequently enough. | Ensure adequate liquid is used for cooking. Stir food regularly, especially when cooking items prone to sticking. |
